Amanda and George were married last Saturday on a sultry afternoon. Such a great, down-to-earth couple. They and there family were so warm and friendly and their friends were also fantastic. Let the story begin...
Amanda works at David Anthony Salon in Lorain. It was crowded with bridesmaids and family as well as co-workers who were happy to get Amanda ready for her big day!

Amanda discovered a trick with her mirror. If she held it up high enough, she could sneak a peek at everyone that was getting ready!
Her pretty bridesmaids were ready to go and taking pictures...
Amanda putting on the finishing touches...
Future mom-in-law getting made up.
Amanda is the bride today, but still can't release her inner stylist as she adjusts Sarah's hair...
Amanda and George had a combination ceremony/reception at Puska's Party Center in Lorain. What a beautiful place! Her dress...
The dressing room was space-challenged, but the girls didn't mind!
Amanda and George decided to take bridal and family portraits before the ceremony. This enabled them to go almost immediately from ceremony to reception...
The ceremony was beautiful...
Have you met my new second shooter? ;-) He did a great job, by the way!
The kiss....with much approval from the kids....
everyone is happy!
So...George came up to me and asked if I would mind taking a picture of their hands with their wedding rings. The photo he requested isn't unusual - I do that all the time -- but what touched me was that he requested it. He said, "This is the first day I'm wearing my ring and I want to have a picture of it." (how sweet!). Later, when I asked for their rings for my "creative ring shot" he said, "I only just started wearing it and my finger feels naked without it!" (awww!)
I didn't keep it from him very long. Just long enough to take a photo of the rings in Amanda's bouquet.
One more of Amanda and George before the reception...
Gorgeous cake...
And this was how it was for most of the day - easy laughter and a great camaraderie between them!
The first dance...I love getting a few photos of the bride and groom with the guests visible. George's mom is happy!
Ahhhhh....love the money dance. :-)
And finally ... lots and lots of dancing!
