Alison and Brian - Engagement Session

I met up with Alison and Brian this past weekend for their engagement session. Alison mentioned to me that one of the things she and Brian like to do is to explore old buildings, so she was really happy with the thought of taking pictures at Squires Castle at the North Chagrin reservation.

One thing I've been doing lately is asking for a favorite song. The song that you plan to play when you walk down the aisle, or the song that will play as you share your first dance, or even a song that just makes you smile when you think of your significant other. Knowing the lyrics of the special songs that move you inspire me to incorporate some unique aspects to some of the pictures I take.

The songs that Alison and Brian chose were lighthearted and fun, but also very meaningful. This, I think, pretty much describes Alison and Brian too. They were so easy going and friendly. And they laughed a lot :-) It is so apparent that they love each other very much.

There's a beautiful contrast to Alison and Brian, photographically speaking. He is talk and dark and she is petite and fair. It made for some really beautiful and emotive pictures.

Carol and Arnie - Wedding

Carol and Arnie exchanged vows earlier this month. I've been chatting with Carol off and on for the past six months through emails, just touching base as she planned her wedding. Through our email exchanges, I knew that the love that she and Arnie shared was something really special. It was so nice to put a face to the words - and she is as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. It was apparent, as I viewed the room of family and friends, that there was much support, love and joy at this union.

The ceremony was at Sammy's in Legacy Village and, as luck would have it, the weather was absolutely gorgeous.

Nicole and Bob's E-Session

So much news to share! First of all, I'm www.somethingbluebook.com 's April Featured Business of the month. Check it out, and also check out their site - it's filled with lots of current and relevant information for today's brides and grooms. http://tinyurl.com/cqwz7e

Second - I will be blogging on Cleveland.com. The blog will feature "The Art of Photography in Cleveland" - there are so many wonderful sites in Cleveland that are a photographer's dream. Stay tuned for more info on this, but it will be something that will interest everyone in the community.

Now on to my fantastic E-Session with Nicole and Bob. We met at Huntington Beach on a beautiful morning, but f-f-f-f-reezing and windy! Nicole and Bob didn't need much direction at all...one hint of a suggestion or pose...and they were oblivious to the camera and completely in tune with each other. It really was hard to choose which photos I wanted for this blog, but following is a representation of the day...
