Amy and Sanjay - Wedding of 11/7/09

I received a call last week from David, the Events Manager at the Park Lane Villa Ballroom, who told me of a very nice couple planning to get married last Saturday. Their photographer had unexpectedly canceled on them and he wondered if I would be available to photograph their wedding. He put me in touch with Amy and we chatted a bit. I was moved by their story - they planned to have a small ceremony here in Cleveland on the 7th and then later in the month, travel to India for a ceremony with Sanjay's family. I certainly didn't want to see her without a photographer! Luckily I was available and was able to take their photos.

I was there for an hour and a half and even though it was just a short span of time, I feel that I got to know Amy and Sanjay very well. I certainly felt the love among their family and friends. I look forward to hearing back from Amy when they return from India - which I'm sure will be a beautiful ceremony! Now the pictures (click on individual pictures to see larger versions).

They decorated the Ballroom with lots of candles and floral...it was exquisite...
After the ceremony, we had a few minutes for portraits, which we took in the beautiful courtyard outside the Ballroom...
