Christina and Casey

Photos taken at one of my favorite outdoor studios - the park at Grand Pacific Junction in Olmsted Falls. The lovely lady in this series is my daughter, Christina. :-) She and Casey have been dating for five years now and she felt that it was time for them to have a portrait session of their own. I was more than happy to oblige. It's somewhat difficult to "be the professional" when the client is your own family. They are so used to me being Mom that seeing me in my other element was probably a blend of entertaining and disconcerting. Add Casey's antics to the mix and it made for a rather interesting afternoon. Casey does not like cameras all that much. I'm not sure that there has ever been a photo of both Casey and Tina smiling a genuine smile at the same time. I am most proud of the fact that I managed to do it. I didn't have to hold out a stuff frog or make funny sounds either - all I did was ask him to think about his 4 year old nephew and how he has to pretend to be Batman when they talk...that brought forth lots of real smiles...and silly faces too. I may end up doing a compilation of the "faces of Casey" because he's so comically expressive! The two of them are made for each other - they laugh constantly and I really did have fun.

Anyway...onto the show...

Just one of a whole lot of goofy...

and finally...the wonderful smiles...
