Leah and Dave - Engagement Session

I met up with Leah and Dave for their engagement session on Sunday. Blustery and cold were words of the day -- in fact, we hit the trifecta of cold, snow and wind! The setting was at the Oberlin campus in Oberlin, Ohio. Gorgeous doesn't begin to describe that area, in fact, I've just declared it my new favorite "outdoor studio" :-) Great idea, Leah, it was a wonderful place for pictures. You guys really rocked these photos!

Leah and Dave were real troopers, even slipping off their coats for a few of the outdoor shots. I give them a mega kudos for giving me so many great pictures to work with. It's not easy not to look cold. :-) There are so many that I like, it will be hard to narrow it down to just a few for this blog.

I have a created a larger set on my Flickr account -- check it out:

In the meantime, here a just a few of my many favorites:

Amanda and Sean

Amanda and Sean were married on February 7th, on a rare, warmish day in Cleveland. The 40-something degree weather felt spring-like after a solid month of deep freeze! It was a gorgeous experience, to say the least, having the opportunity of taking some of their portraits at the Federal Reserve in Cleveland.

Amanda and Sean have a close, loving...and fun loving...set of family and friends. I really enjoyed my day with them!

Here are a few pictures taken of the day -- stay tuned for their album, where you'll see the story unfold with more beautiful portraits at The Fed, kilts, kilts and more kilts, a jovial best man with a mischievous nature, a loving family and lots of love and emotion between Amanda and Sean :-)

Tori and Tristian - Engagement Session

Have you ever met someone and instantly clicked? That's what happened when I met up with Tori and Tristian to take their engagement photos. What a happy and easy going couple -- and quick to laugh, which really made this session fun! We took these pictures at the Grand Pacific Junction in Olmsted Falls -- tons of great areas there for photos. I had so many favorites that choosing just a few for the blog is difficult. I'll add several more to my Flickr account, so if you want to check out the rest of the pictures, just click on the link at the bottom of this post.

I asked Tori to make a snowball and toss it towards Tristian. By the look on her face, you knew it wasn't going to stop there...
